You may have noticed a change on several empty Rockford buildings. Five, which have not been used in years now have the faces of children posted on the walls and windows.

This Rockford Housing Authority project is about more than just art.
The smiling faces posted in the upper windows of the Trekk building in downtown Rockford are meant to promote peace in our community. It’s part of an even larger international art project, called ‘Inside Out.’
