What Choice Neighborhoods?image001

The planning began in 2011. The planning guidebook was presented in 2013. Since, because of the power of community commitment, many amazing results are evident in Ellis Heights! Please come see what these are and share your own updates!

The Rockford Choice Neighborhoods Initiative focuses on strengthening the bonds of housing and neighborhood improvements with appropriate services, schools, public assets, transportation, and access to jobs. It supports the redevelopment of the Fairgrounds Valley housing complex within the context of a comprehensive revitalization plan for the Fairgrounds / Ellis Heights neighborhood that focuses resources to address three core goals: Housing, People and Neighborhoods.

WE NEED YOUR IDEAS, INPUT AND FEEDBACK!
