YouthBuild Rockford is in its final stretch for the 2025 graduation. Participants are diligently working toward completing their High School Diplomas, fulfilling community service hours, and earning their HBI-PACT construction certification. As one cohort prepares to graduate, the next is already forming, offering new opportunities for local youth to join this transformative program.

A Bridge to Academic Success

YouthBuild offers a second chance to young individuals between the ages of 16 and 24 to earn their High School Diploma or GED. The program provides an alternative educational path for those who have faced barriers in traditional schooling, making it a beacon of hope for many in the Rockford community.

Hands-On Skills That Matter

Beyond the classroom, students gain valuable hands-on training through the HBI-PACT certification program. These nationally recognized construction credentials help students develop industry-standard skills while actively contributing to community revitalization projects—giving back as they grow forward.

A Community-First Mission

Service learning is at the core of YouthBuild. From volunteering efforts to collaborative projects like the Shark Tank Challenge and Open House showcases, participants learn the importance of civic responsibility. These events highlight not only student innovation but also community partnership and pride.

If you or someone you know is ready to take the next step—whether to finish high school, develop a career path, or serve Rockford—YouthBuild might be the perfect fit. Encourage interested individuals aged 16–24 to reach out to Stephanie Summers at ssummers@rockfordha.org or call 815-509-8791 to join the upcoming 2025/2026 cohort.
