On January 15, 2026, the Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) made history by hosting its first-ever State of the Housing Authority, a virtual event designed to bring transparency, clarity, and connection directly to the people RHA serves.

Titled “Where Housing Meets Hope,” the event marked the beginning of a new annual tradition one centered on accountability, trust, and shared progress.
