Connecting Residents to Opportunity

At Rockford Housing Authority, the Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program Program plays an important role in helping residents work toward personal and professional goals. Through individualized support and strong community partnerships, the ROSS team helps residents access job opportunities, educational pathways, and services that promote long-term success.

As the program continues to grow, resident feedback is essential. Hearing directly from the people we serve helps ensure the ROSS Program remains responsive, meaningful, and aligned with the real needs of our communities. Your input allows us to strengthen services, improve communication, and create more opportunities that truly support resident goals.

We want to know what matters most to you. What resources would you like to see more of? Are there workshops, employer visits, training opportunities, or community connections that would be helpful for you and your family? Your suggestions help shape the future of the program and ensure we are building services that reflect resident priorities.

In addition to one-on-one support, the ROSS Program is excited to welcome visits from several community partners and employers. These connections help bring real-world opportunities directly to residents, creating meaningful pathways to career exploration and workforce development.

The ROSS Program is led by Amy Byrd, ROSS Program Manager, alongside Breanna Bailey, ROSS Program Coordinator. Together, they bring dedication, experience, and a resident-centered approach to the program’s daily work.

We encourage all residents to share feedback, ideas, and recommendations using this https://rpa2y.share.hsforms.com/2Fviaj2llRTWvaTXCgI_7bg  so we can continue improving and expanding opportunities together.
