A Year of Rising

YouthBuild Rockford enters the new year with a continued focus on creating meaningful opportunities for young adults to gain education, job skills, and confidence while contributing positively to their community. Through a structured approach that blends accountability, training, and support, the program remains committed to preparing participants for long-term success.

Education and Workforce Training
Participants engage in academic instruction combined with hands-on construction training and industry-recognized certifications. These efforts are aligned with local workforce needs and Section 3 goals, ensuring youth are prepared for employment, continued education, or career advancement while supporting community development initiatives.

Whole-Person Development and Compliance Support
Beyond technical training, YouthBuild emphasizes mentorship, leadership development, and case management to address barriers to success. Section 3 compliance efforts are supported by Stephanie Summers, Section II Compliance Manager, who works closely with Calvin Wesley and CCS to ensure workforce participation, reporting, and compliance requirements are met.

As the year moves forward, YouthBuild Rockford remains committed to helping young people rise through opportunity, responsibility, and purpose. For Section 3 information or participation opportunities, reach out today to learn how to get involved.
