2025 has been a year of progress for the Jobs Plus Program. With a focus on employment access, job readiness, and workforce development, Jobs Plus coordinated two highly successful hiring events that connected residents directly with employers who were eager to hire.
These events reflected exactly what Jobs Plus stands for: opportunity meeting preparation.
Our residents are the true heroes of these events. They showed up ready to explore career opportunities, engage with employers, and take meaningful steps toward building stronger futures. Their determination and willingness to grow are the driving force behind the Jobs Plus mission.

These barriers can make employment feel out of reach — and Jobs Plus stepped in to help remove those barriers.
The Jobs Plus team played a crucial guiding role by preparing residents before the events, offering résumé support, interview readiness, and ongoing coaching. Their efforts ensured that each resident walked into the event confident and well-prepared.
The spring event brought together employers from healthcare, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, transportation, and more. Residents were able to apply on-site, speak directly with hiring managers, and complete interviews in real time breaking down digital and logistical barriers.
Building on the momentum from spring, the fall event drew even more employers and community partners. Residents received support with applications, access to training programs, and resources designed to help them secure long-term, sustainable employment.

Without accessible hiring events like these, many residents would continue facing employment barriers alone. Missed opportunities, limited access, and lack of support could prevent families from reaching their goals. Jobs Plus ensures that no resident has to navigate the job search alone.
