The Rockford Housing Authority’s popular Coffee & Conversation series continues this fall, offering residents a chance to sit down with their local police officers for open, informal discussions about neighborhood safety. These gatherings strengthen trust and create stronger community bonds.
At Rockford Housing, we know that safety and security in our neighborhoods start with open communication and trust. That’s why we’re continuing our popular Coffee & Conversation series this fall and winter!
These informal, community-focused gatherings give residents the chance to sit down with their neighborhood police officers, enjoy a cup of coffee, and have meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to them. Whether it’s discussing safety concerns, offering suggestions, or simply getting to know the officers patrolling your neighborhood, Coffee & Conversation is all about creating positive relationships in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Here’s where you can catch the next Coffee & Conversation events:

We encourage everyone to come out, engage with the police officers who work in your community, and be part of the conversation on how we can all help to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Safety Tip of the Month: Secure your home! Make sure to lock all doors and windows, even when you’re at home. Good lighting, such as motion-sensor lights around your property, can also go a long way in deterring potential intruders.
Join us at the next Coffee & Conversation event to help build a safer, more connected community by engaging in meaningful conversations with local law enforcement.
