Empowering Families Through Events 

Rockford Housing Authority’s Human Services Department is proud to host three impactful events this summer all designed to empower families, support youth, and create stronger community connections. Whether you’re a resident, partner, or advocate, you’re invited to be part of the movement. 

Youth Fair & HUD Strong Families – July 31, 12–3PM 

This family-friendly fair celebrates young people with job leads, college readiness, back-to-school resources, and more. In partnership with HUD’s Strong Families initiative, offer free food, games, and services that uplift entire households.

All Things Housing Summit – August 20, 12–2PM 

Housing impacts every part of life and this summit brings it all together. From public housing and Section 8 to credit building and eviction prevention, this event connects residents with critical tools and experts. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, network, and grow.
