A quality home is the foundation of society & community
Rockford Housing Authority created a clever activity for our hardworking employees to help make working during COVID-19 a little brighter. The RHA Picture Project was a 4-week long contest where employees share photos throughout the week. Every week had a new list of photos to share, for example, subjects included:
The project began on 8/31/20 and ran through 9/25/20. There were cash prizes every day, and if staff participated the entire week, they had the chance to win even more cash! There were raffle prizes as well, boxed lunch to be served for the Finale Event. The Recreation Committee held a live zoom meeting today to announce the final winner which is Bernice! She won our Surprise Vote for participating for all 4 weeks of the contest. It was a random drawing for all the people who participated in all 4 weeks of the contest. She won $125. Congratulations Bernice!
To continue to create strategic partnerships with community stakeholders, design a diverse housing portfolio, leverage social service programming to unite and ensure residents are provided with safe and nurturing environments that lead to self-sufficiency, responsibility, and individual empowerment.
