As we celebrate Black History Month, we must never forget Martin Luther King Jr. and the mark he left in society beginning with his speech, “I Have a Dream.” More than five decades later, this speech continues to pave the way for future generations. The I Have a Dream Scholarship is for those dreamers who plan on receiving their college degrees and developing their careers but faced hardships and setbacks in life. Knowing how to overcome obstacles makes the difference between throwing in the towel and thriving.
If you have a dream to chase, then nothing can stop you. I have a dream means having the courage to pursue the impossible. It takes determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort to get up and try again. Commit and invest in your dreams to break through and step forth in a life that you deserve by earning a degree from Western Governors University with minimal financial barriers.
This scholarship is in accordance with the university’s mission to increase value in access and achievement within underserved communities. For more details and information on the scholarship and many others, follow the link that’s provided below.
