Jobs Plus closed its grant cycle with unstoppable momentum, thanks to Program Manager Nick Bowers and Program Specialist Megan Chism, who led two major hiring events that brought excitement, opportunity, and real connections to RHA residents.
In May, more than 200 residents packed the Jobs Plus Hiring Event, creating one of our highest turnouts to date. With Nick and Megan driving employer partnerships and resident outreach, participants accessed interviews, training, and direct hiring pathways.
November’s hiring event continued the energy with 100+ attendees eager to meet recruiters and explore new careers. Nick and Megan ensured every participant felt supported, prepared, and connected. Employers praised the strong engagement and readiness.
As the Jobs Plus grant concludes, Nick and Megan’s leadership turned these events into defining moments for the program proving what community partnership can achieve. The momentum built this year will carry forward long after the grant’s close.
