Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) is excited to welcome Ms. Ari Brocks as our newest Section III trainee. Ari joins us through the Goodwill CEJA Pre-Apprenticeship Program, which prepares individuals for successful careers in the trades. Her enthusiasm, determination, and strong recommendations made her an ideal addition to the RHA team.
Ari will be working closely with Ms. Tanya Woody, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning about the many aspects of housing operations. She’ll also have opportunities to shadow RHA’s skilled maintenance team, giving her a well-rounded view of property management and repair work.
Ari’s long-term goal is to join the Plumbers Union, specializing in HVAC systems a vital trade that supports the comfort and safety of our residents. Her drive to develop technical skills and pursue professional certifications demonstrates her dedication to building a strong and sustainable career.
Programs like Section III and partnerships with organizations such as Goodwill CEJA open doors for individuals like Ari to gain real-world experience while contributing to the community. RHA is proud to be part of her journey toward personal and professional success.
We’re thrilled to have Ms. Ari Brocks on board and look forward to watching her grow, learn, and make meaningful contributions to the RHA team. Her story reflects RHA’s ongoing commitment to empowerment, education, and creating pathways to opportunity.
