Rockford Housing Authority Announces New Operating Hours Beginning February 2, 2026
Rockford, IL — The Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) announces an update to its standard operating hours, effective Monday, February 2, 2026, to ensure continued service coverage and operational efficiency.
Beginning on this date, the Rockford Housing Authority will operate Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. RHA offices will be closed on Fridays.
This updated schedule applies to administrative operations and is intended to align staffing coverage with service demands while maintaining accessibility for residents, partners, and the broader community.
“This change allows us to ensure proper coverage in our communities while continuing to deliver responsive and reliable service,” said Laura Snyder, CEO of the Rockford Housing Authority.
RHA remains committed to transparency, accountability, and open communication with residents, staff, community partners, and stakeholders. The Authority will continue to provide timely updates and ensure that services remain accessible during operating hours.
