The Rockford Housing Authority joins communities nationwide in honoring National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) on January 9th. This day serves as an opportunity for Rockford citizens to express their gratitude and support for the dedicated men and women who serve in law enforcement roles.
Law enforcement officers play a vital and indispensable role in the fabric of our community, safeguarding our neighborhoods and upholding the principles of justice. Their commitment goes beyond the call of duty, contributing to the overall well-being and security of our residents.
Laura Snyder, CEO of the Rockford Housing Authority, recognizes the significance of law enforcement officers in our community. She states, “Our local law enforcement officers are the backbone of community safety, working tirelessly to ensure that our neighborhoods remain secure places for all residents.
