What LIPH Offers Is more than Housing

Low Income Public Housing (LIPH) is not just a place to live. It is a starting point, a foundation where individuals and families can stabilize, regroup, and begin their journey toward self-sufficiency. Throughout the year, our staff worked tirelessly to connect residents with the resources they need to thrive.

Through our Jobs Plus Program, residents gained access to employment pathways, job readiness training, certifications, and direct connections to employers. This program helps residents build confidence and earn stable income while supporting long-term career growth.

The Lifeforce Development Institute (LDI)FSS gives residents essential life skills from financial literacy and communication to personal development and goal-setting. Amy Byrd, our ROSS Program Manager, plays a key role in guiding participants toward becoming stronger, more confident, and more capable.

Under Section III, residents can access job opportunities connected to local development and construction projects. Stephanie Summers, our Section 8 Program Manager, ensures that residents know about these openings and helps match them with meaningful employment that supports long-term stability.

LIPH is also a gateway to becoming a homeowner. Through the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program, residents set financial goals, build savings, and work step-by-step toward purchasing a home. Residents can connect with Elias Soria or Laura Martinez to begin their homeownership journey and build generational stability.

Our LIPH property managers play one of the most important roles in our residents’ experiences and show exceptional dedication each day. They connect with residents, guide them through challenges, and help them access the programs and opportunities that lead to success. Their compassion and commitment shape the heart of our LIPH communities.

LIPH is not just housing.
It is a stepping stone.

A launching pad.

A place where people are encouraged, supported, and empowered to build a better tomorrow. With opportunity programs, caring staff, and strong community partnerships, we help residents move toward independence, confidence, and long-term success.

As we close out the year, we celebrate the accomplishments of every resident who took a step forward and we look ahead with pride at the success stories still to come.
