Women of Influence Event a Great Success

Rockford, IL – The Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) proudly hosted the annual Women of Influence event, bringing together an inspiring panel of female leaders who are making a lasting impact in Rockford and beyond. This empowering gathering featured meaningful discussions, networking opportunities, and an exploration of the challenges women face across various industries.

This year’s event was particularly special as it incorporated YouthBuild Rockford for the first time, allowing young leaders to gain hands-on experience in event planning and organizational leadership. All panelists represented local programs dedicated to uplifting Rockford community members, reinforcing the event’s commitment to fostering positive change.

Stephanie Summers, RHA’s Section 3 Compliance Manager, expressed her enthusiasm for the event’s success, stating:

“I really like the fact that we are able to collaborate with youth and leverage their input to help make this event what it was.”

With over 25 attendees, the event continues to grow in influence and reach, solidifying its place as a key platform for empowering women and future leaders in Rockford.
