Workforce Development Institute works regionally to identify targeted strategies that address workforce development opportunities and challenges. These strategies can include partnerships, training and funding support.
The Workforce Development Institute’s [WDI] Mission is to help “workforce ready community” and promote self-sufficiency. WDI is open to the public to serve the unemployed through soft skills and specialized trainings and referred employees by employers to improve employee performance. All participants take the Work Keys Assessment and goals.
The Workforce Development Institute believes that a healthy workforce base is a key driver to growth of the rest of the economy. Through this program, WDI makes an investment in individuals that lead to workforce development and economic growth.
To continue to create strategic partnerships with community stakeholders, design a diverse housing portfolio, leverage social service programming to unite and ensure residents are provided with safe and nurturing environments that lead to self-sufficiency, responsibility, and individual empowerment.
