At Rockford Housing Authority, growth begins with knowledge—and this March, two of our dedicated team members, Erin Vore, Redevelopment Coordinator, and Linda Dorsey-Tillman, Procurement & Contracts Manager / IT, stepped onto a national stage to gain it. Attending the U.S. Housing & Community Development Conference and Expo, they joined thought leaders from across the country to explore bold new approaches to affordable housing and community building.
This expo brought together professionals in public housing, development, and procurement to address today’s most urgent housing challenges. For Erin and Linda, it was an opportunity to listen, learn, and lead—absorbing proven strategies and trailblazing solutions from across the nation.
Erin focused on redevelopment models that prioritize equity and sustainability, while Linda dove into procurement trends and IT solutions that streamline services and maximize value. Together, their insights will shape smarter, more resident-focused initiatives at RHA.
When we learn from the best, we bring the best home. This experience equips our team with the tools and vision to transform not just buildings—but lives. What Erin and Linda gained at this expo will support Rockford in becoming a beacon of innovation in housing.
We’re proud of Erin and Linda for representing RHA on the national level. Their dedication to continuous learning helps ensure our mission—safe, stable, and thriving communities—continues to grow stronger every day.
