Holiday Message from Laura Snyder, RHA CEO

These past few months have affected the lives of people around the globe. Our points of reference changed overnight. We were forced to instantly modify our habits and discover a new norm for work, school, and everyday living.

We learned social distancing, developed home/work routines, implemented Zoom, WebEx, and Blue Jean meetings. While amid a worldwide health pandemic, our nation witnessed civil unrest between those who have historically had little voice or recognition. And don’t let us forget that countless were the victims of unprecedented natural disasters. But through this collective experience, we’re all discovering a new strength. Community and human values are shining through in beautiful ways.

We are repeatedly washing our hands, and people wear masks to protect themselves, family members, peers, strangers. Those who used to remain silent are now speaking up for those perpetually under-served and for social justice. The US has realized more than 1 billion in private donations to assist those most affected by Covid-19. Beautiful.

To the RHA staff, I want to acknowledge the strength of our team throughout this year. Each member works tirelessly, harnessing all their energy and skills to meet the needs of our clients, partners, stakeholders, and the community. You do whatever it takes to get the job done. For that, I want to thank all of you. You have adjusted your way of working to continue supporting our valued clients and the community. I am proud of the work values, spirit, and unity I have observed in all of you as you have adapted to a new reality.

To our clients, we know how extraordinary these times are for you. We believe solidarity will help us get through this together. We will continue to work alongside our partners to provide the utmost support and services to you and the community.

To our partners, thank you. Thank you for being a part of our family. We are very grateful for your continued support because we wouldn’t be able to provide the level of services that we do without you.  Your commitment to our agency, our clients, and the community is unparalleled.
