Meggi and Erin’s Baby Shower

The joint baby shower held June 3, 2016 was one of those days where the balance between work, friends and family came together to celebrate Meggi and Erin and their soon to be introduced, baby boy and girl respectively.

These aren’t the first births amongst our team at RHA, and they won’t be the last, but they are unique in the sense that we have two team members, on a similar timeline to motherhood. Every birth or family expansion to our RHA families is cause to celebrate and remember the need to find a happy balance in life.

As a father, I know the difficulties of balancing work and family lives. For me, being a dad that is present, loving and a positive role model is important. Dads are important, but let’s face it – Moms are most often the center of new born babies’ lives and this continues through life. In the coming days and weeks Erin will again find that joy that comes with birth; Meggi will for the first time.

These new roles will come with love, joy, pride and ok yes – some stress. During these times, and going forward the bonds we all have together will serve to support Erin and Meggi, just like the RHA moms and dad that came before them, and those that are yet to come. Congratulations to Erin and Meggi and congratulations to their families; current and soon to be expanded families.
