New Mix: “Promoting YOU” Workshop

“Promoting YOU” is a ten week mentoring workshop hosted by “New Mix” and facilitated by Zandie Shields, owner of ZENT, LLC.  Her major recent component of promotions stems from the work done with the ZENT brand and its projects.

“Promoting YOU” is designed to unlock the art of promotions and how it can benefit you as an artist and/ or business owner.  During this program you will take your project or event and develop a unique promotional plan.

Each week the “Promoting YOU” participants explore a topic pertaining to promotions.  Some topics covered are market research, network building, and strategy.

The workshops are held weekly at Fairgrounds Community Center, 1015 West Jefferson Street, from 1:00-2:00 pm each Wednesday through March 8, 2017.

New Mix is open to the entire Rockford community; however the primary focus is those individuals who lack access to support for artistic and creative exploration.  Individuals are able to connect with mentors who will help them to hone in on their artistic skills, establish businesses, and provide a quality service and or product to sell.

Workshop facilitators and individual mentors have all proven to be successful in their field and are excited to help New Mix participants establish another stream of income.  Workshops are help at RHA sites at varying days and times.
