A quality home is the foundation of society & community
The Transformation Plan outlines a course of action to be executed over time. It will harness the energy and creativity of the community and make a substantial and visible difference to the neighborhood. Building a healthier neighborhood began with planning and will be achieved through implementation and unified action.
The Rockford Housing Authority and Task Force will use this plan to identify and secure funding sources that bring about transformational change. At least annually, the task force will meet with the community to provide updates on the plan, achievements and upcoming priorities. It is anticipated that there will be celebrations of success as they occur!

To continue to create strategic partnerships with community stakeholders, design a diverse housing portfolio, leverage social service programming to unite and ensure residents are provided with safe and nurturing environments that lead to self-sufficiency, responsibility, and individual empowerment.
